We ordered goat and camel tagines. The camel tagine is actually quite flavorful, tender but slightly chewy. Both tagines’ presentations were similar, and being the same price, we joked if they ran out of one, they could probably substitute with the other! We got our only banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) in Hanoi. The crisp and airy Viet style baguette (with an amazingly light crackly crust at 4 pm on a hot &amp; humid day) that was filled with mystery meat, cilantro, house mayo, pickled carrots, daikons, peppers and other “stuff” made a truly memorable experience. The one thing we missed out in Hanoi, the beer capital of Vietnam, was its draught beer. It is brewed daily without preservatives and meant to be enjoyed fresh. We managed to squeeze in a walk around the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and see the famous water puppet show.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/halongbayimg_8160copy.jpg</image:loc><image:title>HalongBayIMG_8160Copy</image:title><image:caption>Mist Shrouded Halong Bay.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/hoianchickenboat1.jpg</image:loc><image:title>HoiAnChickenBoat</image:title><image:caption>One of the Cargo Boats plying the Hoi An River with a Bird Painted on the front for Good Luck.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/hoianmyquang2.jpg</image:loc><image:title>HoiAnMyQuang</image:title><image:caption>My Quang, a Turmeric colored Noodle Dish from Central Vietnam. </image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/hoian1lanternshopsmall2.jpg</image:loc><image:title>HoiAn1LanternShopSmall</image:title><image:caption>A Lantern Shop in Hoi An.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/hoianmyquang1.jpg</image:loc><image:title>HoiAnMyQuang</image:title><image:caption>My Quang, a Turmeric colored Noodle Dish from Central Vietnam.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/hoian1lanternshopsmall1.jpg</image:loc><image:title>HoiAn1LanternShopSmall</image:title><image:caption>A Lantern Shop in Hoi An.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/hoianchickenboat.jpg</image:loc><image:title>HoiAnChickenBoat</image:title><image:caption>One of the Cargo Boats plying the Hoi An River with a Bird Painted on the front for Good Luck.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/hoianmyquang.jpg</image:loc><image:title>HoiAnMyQuang</image:title><image:caption>My Quang, a Turmeric colored Noodle Dish from Central Vietnam</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/hoian1lanternshopsmall.jpg</image:loc><image:title>HoiAn1LanternShopSmall</image:title><image:caption>A Lantern Shop in Hoi An.</image:caption></image:image><lastmod>2012-03-04T20:18:25+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/2012/01/17/best-of-2011-retrospects-from-2-parallel-universes/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://interspacedesign.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/las-vegas1.jpg</image:loc><image:title>Las-Vegas</image:title><image:caption>Paris, Las Vegas, by night. All four share a neobaroque look, and the philosophy of “furniturized” kitchens. The designs play on the fact that modern kitchens are not just places for cooking, but also support the tasks of reading, dining, working and socializing. To make the transitions seamless, appliances are hidden behind handleless door fronts and hoods disappear into the ceilings of the wall cabinets.
